Zomato - Refund Of Non-delivered Order
I ordered a cake yesterday via zomato app for my brother in law. There was no option to provide his contact number so I entered his mobile number in the address. At the time of delivery, the delivery boy didn't reach out to the contact number mentioned and cancelled the order. After seeing text, I called back within a minute suspecting fraud and the delivery boy said he wouldn't deliver the order now and I may contact customer service. I contacted Zomato via chat and I had the worst experience of customer service in my life wherein I was not just denied refund of the order but also they were insensitive about the fraud that delivery guy did. Thus, I would like to report this to consumer forum for Zomato's visibility and they shall process the refund amount as I had called back the delivery guy within a minute of receipt of text from zomato.
