TAB Travel located in Kolkata has cheated me by not providing services as promised in his itinerary. The provide me budget hotels instead of 3 stars mentioned in his itinerary. My 2nd night in Pelling and darjeeling I had to book my own hotel since the choices of hotel provided by tab travel was far below 3 stars.
He booked taxi for me the move around instead of providing wagon/sumo/bolero or proper tourist vehicle as promised.
He infact send a taxi driver who doesn't speak English when I travel from Gangtok to Pelling. The driver wasn't aware of which hotel I will be staying. The next the driver just brought us for sightseeing based on
his experience instead of following the itinerary given to us.
The taxi arranged for us from Pelling to Darjeeling was not aware that we are foreigner and that we need to register at checkpost before exiting Sikkim. We almost missed the checkpost and I would have violated the country rules.
I paid the travel agent 50% downpayment online and remaining 50% was paid cash to their agent in Gangtok. He didn't provide me official receipt.
I have a copy of TAB travels registration with Kolkata municipal corporation, 50% downpayment slip and WhatsApp conversation with Nirmalya Bose (the owner)
