I got a call on 23rd Feb 2017 from a person called Vineet. He claimed himself to be a Shine.com recruitment team member and offered me placement services to IT companies on a small payment of Rs 2830. I agreed to pay following which he redirected me to his Senior Rahul Verma. After I made the 1st payment of the above mentioned amount he said the services will only be activated if I pay more amount of Rs. 7720 and Rs 8760 for CV Booster and CV Builder respectively. He assured that all the amount is refundable in 3 scenarios as below and that no further payments required.
i) After I get placed in a company through them
ii) If I don't get placed within 15 working days
iii) If I get a job of my own
I agreed and paid them through their website profilexpert.in.
He sent mail confirmation and asked me for some details of scanned copy of Passport, Voter ID, Passport, Play slips etc.
I sent them all and after 2 days when I called him back about what is going on he sent me a mail containing the list of companies for which he would arrange interviews with. He assured me that he would schedule for interviews on 7th March.
He calls me all of a sudden on 4th March asking me for more money of Rs 10,000 for Interview confirmation and if I don't pay that I wont be getting any of their services and that no refund of the previous money as well. Again he assured this will be the last payment following which I started doubting him. He claims his company has around 250 employees in and around NCR region and is located at C27 Rajendra Palace New Delhi. Please be careful with such calls.
