Makemytrip.com - Holiday Operator Complaint Rating:   

I had proceded on holiday arranged through makemytrip.com to Europe from 28 Mar to 06 April. Whatever ads they keep showing, it is all fraud as I have experienced the opposite . I had paid for a self drive option in Switzerland. I paid for the entire thing in advance. When the vouchers came , it was written that I had to pay 96 Swiss francs at the counter. When I enquired I was told that this was due to confusion and money would be refunded to me on my return to India.

On arriving at Zurich after a long flight, I was told I can not take the car as I didn't have credit card. This was never spelt out by any of the makemytrip employees. Then the struggle started. All this customer care and tall claims fall flat . And after waiting for about two. Hours. I took another car from the adjacent rental company without credit card and carried on.


I was promised refund immediately on arrival. Till dae I have been waiting . Do not trust Mr nishant rai and ms nagaveni a run. They are frauds .
