Make My Delivery - In Spite Of Cancelling The Order They Havent Processed The Refund Complaint Rating:   

I had placed an order on March 08, 2017 for CA - Final Law handbook by Munish Bhandari on Make My Delivery's website and made an online payment. However, I waited and waited and I didn't receive the order in spite of numerous follow ups, which no one answered. Then, I couldn't wait any longer as my exams are due in May and I couldn't shuffle my study time table any further, so I contacted them on Face book on March 22, 2017 and it was agreed that I want to cancel my order and I'll buy the book from my local vendor and they'll process the refund within 4-5 working days. However, in this same scenario, my close friend got the refund immediately. In spite of cancelling the order, they made the delivery 2-3 days later, but it was of no use to me as I had already purchased it from my local bookstore as it was discussed on Face book chats. Now, on March 28, 2017, I again wrote an email to them regarding my refund status, to which there was no reply. So I again, put a top up email on March 29, to which again, there was no reply. This getting on my nerves, I called them on March 30 and I spoke to their representative - Mr. Pratik. I explained him the whole situation as to how my refund is still not processed and that they've delivered the book in spite of the order being cancelled. He probably didn't have the authority to resolve my query, so he said he'll refer the case to his senior and then he'll get back to me. Now he says, unless and until I don't return the book (which was sent by them by mistake in spite of the order being cancelled), and they don't verify the book, they won't process the refund. I told him unless and until I don't receive the refund, I'm not going to return the package as I've no guarantee whatsoever that they'll process the refund even after that, and that I'll have to again do continuous follow-up for refund which is ultimately going to disturb my peace of mind and affect my studies. I even told them that the package which I've received from them is in the same condition as it was delivered and I was even ready to send them the photo by email for their verification, but they didn't pay any heed.

To sum up, being a CA Final student, I feel cheated and I seek justice.
