In Cable Service Commitment - HD Setup Box Package Complaint Rating:

I am using 'IN' cable service at shridhar nagar, Chinchwad gaon from last 10 years, recently I changed by residence to near by society,
Though the service provider is same but operator is different, new operator charge me RS.1000 per setup box (I have 2 nos so total Rs 2000/-) and also increased monthly charges from RS. 200 to RS. 250/- per connection. Also charge me extra for cable and fittings.

From the day first, there were lot of issues like cable black out for 10-12 days every month, very poor quality. I purchased new TV to resolve this problem, but found it same.

As suggested by cable operator, I accepted his suggestion to go for HD setup box, for which he charged me another RS. 3250/- and told that all channels / services for this box will be free for a year. He also took back old set top box with no refund of deposit.

Now cable operator is demanding RS. 250 per month charge extra, which he confirmed to be free for a year and threatening us to cut connection if we did not pay per month charges.

I want cable operator to stand with his commitment of not charging anything extra for the new HD setup box connection for year.
