wish to confirm whether a company can charge more money than the bill amount while swiping the debit card, if the company has done so whom should I complaint to stop such practices by these big business houses who suck on small people like us.
I had purchase goods worth Rs.250.70, from Elite super market , Thrissur, Kerala, while paying with my debit card the counter cashier rounds it up to Rs.251/- net. When asked he tells, me that his management has decided to do so. This means the cashless policy is a source of cheating, should we have faith in this cashless policy. If the company goes on rounding up with all the customers he stand to make an extra income of thousands of rupees just free.
I have all the documents to support my statement.
