Amazon - Oppo F3 Gold Without Offers Complaint Rating:

I have placed an order for Oppo F3 (Gold) and OneAssist Accidental & Liquid Damage Protection on 22nd Aug 2017 from Amazon.I expected the delivery on time as it is placed as an gift to my friend, who had to bring it to his home for a Onam vacation.
I didnot get call or message from Amazon indicating delay in delivery. I sent email to them on 31st Aug saying the inconvenience caused in my side. They asked me to wait for 24 hrs, even then i didn't get any notification from Amazon. I sent second email to Amazon customer care after completing 24hrs(1st Sep 2017) , but they taken my case lightly and said wait for the delivery. They replied with same status asking me to wait for another day. I waited till 4th of sep to collect my item. I didn't get any call/email from Amazon side for latest update. Screen shot of the delivery promised date is attached.
I need compensation for the inconvenience caused.
