Amar Chitra Katha Pvt. Ltd - Mahabharata Comic Books 3-volume Set Complaint Rating:   

Since long I am trying to get Amar Chitra Katha's complete Mahabharata comic books which were first published during 1980s in a continuous 42-comic series and subsequently recently reissued in a hard bound 3-volume set in English language. My problem is that I need this complete Mahabharata in "Hindi" language, which unfortunately, is not available. Upon inquiry, Amar Chitra Katha says that these comics are only available in English and they simply cannot be issued or reprinted in Hindi.
I am amazed and shocked to find that a big publishing house as Amar Chitra Katha, which takes pride in publishing its comics and other issues in 20 different Indian languages, can be so insensitive to the demands and aspirations of its Hindi-speaking and understanding readers and stick to only one language (English) for publishing its comics one after another. Hindi, as we all know, is a vastly spoken and admired language in India and Amar Chitra Katha is doing a big disservice to its Hindi readers by ignoring it in favor of only English in which it is recently publishing more and more its other comics also. Moreover, it cannot be seen as a wise business move to ignore Hindi as a publication house.
Please be kind enough to suggest Amar Chitra Katha that I, as well as many Hindi-lovers, need more and more of these wonderful comics in Hindi, in which, I have been an avid reader since childhood. This is not to say that publishing in English is wrong. I am only suggesting that since it is a multi-language publication house, publications in Hindi should not be completely ignored as it is the language of the vast majority in India. Business-wise also, it is not profitable.
Kindly help in getting this Amar Chitra Katha's Mahabharata as well as other recently issued comics by them reprinted and reissued in Hindi as well.
